Stephen Curry likely to miss entire season with hand injury

Golden State Warrior refuted reports that Steph Curry might not return this season because of his injury. Shortly after, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle was informed by a Golden State source that Bucher's report was false and that the break was not worse than expected.

The Warriors responded by calling Bucher's story "complete hogwash" and stood by their original plan of re-evaluating their star in February.

Stephen Curry underwent surgery to fix a broken left hand a week ago and is expected to miss at least three months, but it sounds like that would now be the best-case scenario for the two-time NBA MVP.

Bucher later clarified his report. At that time, the team announced it would update his status in three months, which could have put Curry back on the court around the All-Star Game.

The Warriors are between 2 and 6 years old and things could get very bad for them with Curry and Klay Thompson at the exit and Kevin Durant having gone free autarky.

Danilo Gallinari scored 19 points, Dennis Schroder added 18, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the short-handed Golden State Warriors 114-108 Saturday night. The team maintains that Stephen Curry will be subjected to another re-evaluation after three months following his surgery last Friday.
